Clinical Student Experiences/Rotations

Partnership Health Center offers a wide variety of clinical student experiences/rotations.

All students interested in applying for a clinical experience opportunity must download and complete the Student Application and submit a letter of interest to francisr@phc.missoula.mt.us.

Upon receipt of the completed application and letter of interest, the Onboarding Coordinator will initiate the application review process.  Once an available opportunity has been confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent.  We are currently looking for students from schools with affiliation agreements already in place.  Requests will only be considered 6-18 months prior to the requested time frame.  Rotation spots will not be held without a student name.  The following onboarding steps will need to be completed no later than one month before rotation begins:
  • Letter from school or residency program confirming that the student is in Good Standing.
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI) from affiliated school.
  • Immunization records (Hep B, MMR, Varicella,  current TB test, Flu, COVID-19)
  • School Bio (if applicable)

Non-Clinical Rotations/Internships

All students interested in applying for a non-clinical rotation (including internships) must download and complete the Student Application and submit a letter of interest.  Requests need to be on school letterhead and must layout the objectives of the rotation/internship.  Submit these documents to francisr@phc.missoula.mt.us.

Requests shall be submitted the semester prior to the semester of the rotation/internship.
Upon receipt of the completed documents, the Onboarding Coordinator will initiate the application review process.  Once a position has been confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent.  This type of rotation/internship will have minimal patient contact.

*Placements for students are subject to change with short notice due to COVID-19.

Partnership Health Center respectfully acknowledges that we occupy the traditional homelands of the Séliš, Qĺispé, and Ktunaxa-Ksanka nations. We also recognize that these lands are a site of trade, medicine gathering, healing, and travel for other Native tribes in the area and is still home for many Indigenous people. We extend our gratitude for those who have stewarded this land since time immemorial.

We acknowledge that the health care system has played a role in the oppression of Indigenous peoples. We commit to ongoing learning about the impact of colonization on the health and wellbeing of Indigenous peoples, and we commit to meaningful action that reverses health inequities.
